Photo gallery: 2009 Toyota Yaris 5-door Posted on August 27th
Toyota has announced that a 5-door hatchback will join the Yaris lineup in the US for 2009. The 5-door Yaris shares its size, styling and interior with the 3-door Yaris Liftback. (The Yaris sedan is significantly longer and has a unique dashboard design.) Clearly, Toyota has their sights on Honda’s new-for-2009 Fit — and I’m sure that Chevy’s new 2009 Aveo5 hatchback isn’t lost on them, either. (Speaking of which, I’ll be posting a review of the 2009 Aveo5 tomorrow.)
